What are anti-infectives?

Anti-infectives help treat infections cause by bacteria (antibiotics), fungal (antifungals), and viral (antivirals). Infections commonly treated by IV anti-infective include:

  • Pneumonia

  • Skin and Soft Tissue

  • Gastrointestinal Tract

  • Respiratory

  • Blood (Bacteremia)

  • Bone (Osteomyelitis)

  • Urinary Tract

Antibiotics:

  • Ceftriaxone

  • Cefazolin

Antifungals:

  • Ambisome
